Amazon Expanding Same-Day Delivery

Amazon is expanding same-day delivery to every zip-code in all the markets where the service is offered. Amazon says that it is still working out the details but it should have one hundred percent coverage "shortly."

Amazon, which recently promised to expand same-day delivery coverage to areas of the New York City and Boston markets that had been ignored, has told the Congressional Black Caucus that it will expand Prime Same-Day to “every ZIP code of the 27 cities” where the service is currently available. Amazon also says it won’t offer same-day service in any new markets unless it knows it will be able to deliver in every ZIP code of that market.

I would rather see them correct their 2 day shipping and actually make it two day again. Right now, a lot of Prime items I try to order come three days later.

Bought something last night, going to arrive Tuesday.... Awesome 2 day I'm paying for. I'm getting about every thrid package late, my wife's got about the same ratio (shared prime household)

I get my 2 day shipping in 2 days. And I just found that some items are showing "Want it today...? Order in the next X minutes...". This stuff is all dependent on where you are located. Glad Amazon is trying to get things out faster imo.

In my area Amazon is actually more consistent than say FedEx and UPS who regularly either deliver things later, (or worse pretend nobody's home and just leave a note when a signature is required 75% of the time). My Amazon packages are now being delivered by white amazon trucks instead of the third party delivery services they used to use. I suspect those living in areas where packages are consistently late, Amazon is still relying on third parties.

I live in south Fort Worth and got these within 8 hours of ordering on Amazon.......I was so happy to finally live in an important city!!!
