Amazon Dash Buttons

I ordered these thinking you could program them to order anything. Wrong.. I can't even order the big jug of Gain detergent that I get from Sam's despite it being available on Amazon; it's not over of the few options available to order for some reason.

Why wouldn't they just let you program them for anything? I should have figured as much after trying to find a blank one so I could just label it myself. Seems like a no-brainer to me to have those available.
 
Also the condom one does not make sense. Millenials would be most likely to use such a device to order condoms, yet millenials are having less and less sex then the previous generations. I agree with another poster, battery life would then be the limiting factor.
 
I got some of these. I set up one as an internet kill switch at the house, to kick on the firewall rule that blocks my kids electronic devices. There's a nice node.js package for interacting with these.
My wife keeps it clipped to the bedside bookshelf.
I gave two away and a buddy of mine has purchased one of the little programmer/dev kits for the chip.

I think NFC tags would be more useful imo. Just program it, then you can tap your phone to it in the future to jump to the order page for wherever the hell you want to order it. You can reuse it if you want, or update it to source another product or website.
Alternative to Amazon Dash Button using NFC tags
Stick one near the filter door on your HVAC, on the side of your water filter, on top of the coffee maker, etc. Dry goods you order that you can't be arsed to look up every time you need to buy the goddamn $30 thing that goes in it every 3 fucking months.

That's not exactly right. There are 15% that aren't having sex (in the past year), but 85% are and 45% have sex with people they're not dating (up from 35% for gen x). So single Gen Y are probably getting laid more than single Gen X did at the same age and as such they need more condoms.

There's no hard and fast rule, but I generally think Gen Y starts around 1980-1982, but to some degree, if you're on the edge of generations, you decide for yourself. I think i could fall in boomer or gen x (depending on the range), but I generally think I'm more X than Boomer. I've got a friend who was born in '81 and she says I'm not a millennial!!!! :ROFLMAO:

If you're over 35, you're probably Gen X. If you're over 36, You're definitely Gen X.
