AM2 Voltage

How much is too much? I'm @ 1.425 w/ stock cooler @ 2.75ghz. Trying to reach for 2.8 (so Close!!!) but don't wanna fry the chip.

I like to keep my voltage boost to within 10% of stock. This is more of a personal preference and I don't beleive there is any hard and fast rule. It is my personal opinion that any chip should be able to handle a 10 percent bump with no negative impact.

which chip is it? for some reason, i seem to have no issues feeding a sempron 3400+ 1.65v
