upgrading my current rig to am2 and i want to confirm whether or not my psu is going to be strong enough.

am2 x2 athlon 4600+ (65w)
1 gig (1x1024) ddr 800 memory
western digital 160gb sata hdd
asus dvd burner
geforce 7900gs
250mm fan

the psu calculator at extreme PSU Calculator estimated that i will need a psu capable of delivering 267 watts. i currently have an allied 400watt psu. should i upgrade to a 500watt or will i be ok?

The xtreme psu calculator makes another appearence

I'd pick up a new psu. Allied isn't exactly a good brand, and Quality > Quantity. Try something like the Enhance ENS-5150GH or the Seasonic S12 430.
