AM2 CPU cooler with AM3 board

I'm shopping for a new board and I was wondering if my current AM2 CPU cooler (Asus Arctic Square) will fit in to a AM3 board? I don't feel like spending another $40 or so when I can just move it to my new mobo.

AM2, AM2+, and AM3 all use the same heatsink mounting system, so you're good.

The only time I had a problem was when trying to use a 939 Opteron heatpipe cooler on an AM2. They say it fits, but it just doesn't clear the mount at the corners.
