I read the OC guide and a few other tutorials around but I seem to be doing something wrong because my PC won't post if I change anything in the bios.

I tried changing my CPU freq. to 240mhz from 200mhz with a 10x multiplier to try to reach 2.4ghz. Only changing the CPU freq. I saved the changes and exited the bios. At this point my PC normally reboots. But after changing the setting I just get a black screen and my PC does nothing. I also tried doing 300mhz with an 8x multiplier but same thing, I just get a black screen. 2.2ghz didn't work either.

Going from 2ghz to 2.4 doesn't require a voltage change does it?

What is the HT multiplier that everyone talks about. Is that the CPU to NB multiplier? Because I don't seem to know exactly what people are talking about.

Start at 210 x 10, then graduate to 220, 230 etc.

The HT multiplier or CPU/NB speed is correct, it should be reduced so the number is always below 1000. Set it to 3x (or 600, if it's in numerical format) and see if you're stable.
