I've been OCing my CPU today, but Im not sure if its running at those speeds.

My FSB= 135mhz x 15(I believe) = 2.10 Ghz

AIDA Tells me = 1.667Ghz (stock speeds), and the same fsb and multiplier at stock.

BIOS Tells me: 2.10 GHz.

AOpen AK77-8XN - mobo
Athlon XP 2000+ Palomino.

Someone help me plz!!

Thanks

right click on my computer and go to properties, thats what windows is seeing your processor at

i have no idea what AIDA is
just do what Jared701 said and use the windows stuff

It sounds like your BIOS is telling you you have a 2100+, due to the slight increase in FSB. The 2000+ has a stock multiplier of 12.5x.

Depending on what core your processor has, you may or may not have some headroom with this chip. If it's a palomino, don't expect a whole lot. If it's a thoroughbred b chip, start cranking it, it'll go far. :)

Hmm , I didn't unlock anything personally, I just went into bios and it allowed me to change my multiplier, and FSB.

It also IS a palomino, so Im not sure.

I'll do the stuff in windows when i get home, im in the middle of Mid-terms for my KEYBOARDING CLASS!!! (anyone, in HS, take a keyboarding class, I walked in @ 70wpm, leaving at 75wpm, and didnt do anything easiest half credit ever =) )

I finished my 2 hour mid term, in 35 mins, so im kinda juss chillen here. Peace.

argh - how do I unlock my multiplier? It goes up in BIOS, but it doesnt save.

CPUZ, AIDA, and Windows all say: 1667mhz. Argh, this sucks.

Someone help me PLEASEEEEE!!!!!!!!
