I have seen a lot of people who are interested in a good LCD monitor to use with a video game console like the Xbox 360. Like many people hear, I have strongly considered the 24 inch BenQ and Gateway monitors though some poor features on the Gateway and no 1:1 on the BenQ have stopped me from getting them.
So I just thought to myself, why not just get an LCD HD TV?

Look at that page, those TV's seem to come at a cheaper price than the rumored BenQ with 1:1 scaling. The thing is, these TV's are only 720p. Would they all still work perfectly well in High Definition? Would the image be perfectly fine with the 1366 x 768 resolution they all seem to come with?
And also honestly, how much of a difference will 720p and 1080p make on a 24-26 inch screen for the Xbox 360?
