am i missing something here. 4x2gb 1066..working.

i had been reading about so many issues running 4 x 2gb at 1066 ddr2.
i just recently installed 4x 2gb Corsair Dominator 1066 on a maximus ii formula board with an overclocked cpu...and am running them with no errors or issues.

the system is qx9770 9 x 400fsb @ 3.6ghz 1.35v
maximus formula ii. 8gb ddr2 @ 1066 corsair dominators

No mem errors showing up or any unstability.

just glad everything is working fine..just curious because i was reading about how hard it was to run 8gb at 1066 on a similar setup. Problems were no boot, only 3 sticks working, runs at 667 only...common problems but all looks good.

any opinions.

4 at DDR800 is not uncommon at all. But, 4 x 1066 is much harder and users typically have to do a bit more tuning to get it if their memory controller will do it at all. Just to be clear, did you say you got 4 x 2GB at 1066?
