Am I making a big mistake?

I'm about to trade my full computer which is :
ASUS A7n266-VM AA
Athlon 2400+ XP
512 2100 generic RAM
GF4MX440
37GB 5200 RPM HD
Case + 300W PSU

For my friend's :
Pentium 4 3.0 HT CPU
Soyo Dragon 2 Mobo
512 3200 generic RAM
+ $20

Who'se getting a better deal?

EDIT: Turns out he doesn't have the RAM afterall.

I dont know but take a guess lol  .

I would say more then likely you are coming out on top or close to it. You'll definitely have a faster machine though once you get that hooked up with some other stuff.

Why do you guys want to trade?

Did you stop loving your computer

Depends on what his video is. But, of course, you have an Geforce MX, sooo... I doubt it could be much worse. I'm saying you're coming out way ahead.

you, definately. Just use that $20 towards a good vcard and your set.

its a good deal, but dont dont give him your harddrive, you can use it as a slave when you get a new one.

All that AND $20? You get the base parts of a comp and like, a dinner at Applebee's!

Nah, it's just that he wants a decent computer NOW so he can play counter-strike, since I stopped playing that game competitvely a few weeks after 4 years. I got a backup computer so I can chat and such so I don't relatively need a good computer right now. Thanks for the replies, kinda got rid of all the regret I might have when I trade it. :D :D
