Am I just lucky?

I have read some / most of this and nothing I read compares very directly to what you're saying.

https://web.archive.org/web/2016051...s/windows-10/speech-inking-typing-privacy-faq (because microsoft constantly changes this page)

Key section: "What are speech, inking and typing services?"

When you interact with your Windows device by speaking, writing (handwriting), or typing, Microsoft collects speech, inking, and typing information—including information about your Calendar and People (also known as contacts)—that helps personalize your experience. This information improves your device’s ability to correctly recognize your input, such as your pronunciation and handwriting

Microsoft admits to logging your keystrokes, speech and people you know. This is an archive.org link because Microsoft constantly changes this page to use new and creative ways to put a pretty face on the fact that they log data.

Insiders have it far worse.

Key section: "Data We Collect"

Basically everything you do is logged, it's equivalent having someone over your shoulder at all times watching you and your machine.
