I contacted evga about a problem with the speaker output jack on the motherboard.
You had to fiddle with the jack in order to get it to work. I contacted support and asked if
i could removed the shield from the sound jacks and repair the problem (probably a contact that needed to be realinged) I was told i could not do this as it would void
warranty (understandable) but was told to buy a sound card. I feel if i cannot repair the problem they should have offered an rma , not just go out and buy a sound card.
i love the motherboard (p55le) but after that don't give a crap support , i would never buy
nor recommend any of thier products. sorry for the long story but would like your feedback.

RMA it or if your motherboard audio drivers allow you, just change which jack is audio output/input. most allow this option. for example my default out is the green jack but for some reason gets tons of feedback from my wireless usb nic. so i have it set to use the black one as my audio output.

I would just send it back. If you have to fiddle with it, it's broken.
