:) I was just wondering if any of you guys know how to disable Altiris from the computer your at so the teacher cant do anything to you. Do any of you know? There has to be a way.

It's funny you should ask since I work for Altiris. :)

I assume you are talking about the AClient. It depends on the server-side settings as well as your local permissions on the machine. If you are a local admin, you should have no problems killing the process. From the server though, they can easily do a discovery and see who on the network has disabled the client. I am not familiar with the environment you are in, but this could lead to some disciplinary action against you I would imagine.

Why did you post this in the video card section?
 
Hmmm...well thanks anyways. It kinda sucks cause we cant get on alot of websites that we'd like to look at. And you cant download any games! We have found a way to download games and get on websites we want through GPEDIT but they can use a preogram called surf-stop or surf-block or something like that (it might be apart of altiris) that totally denys us internet access. Does anyone know how to get passed THAT???
