Alternative to Outlook

Are there any decent email clients? Outlook seems to have too many bugs and annoyances.

I wouldn't say Outlook has bugs, or else it wouldn't be the defacto mail/PIM application in the business world. Annoyances are subjective, so there's nothing to discuss there.

Do you need all of the features of Outlook, or just e-mail/contacts? What type of e-mail account are you using?
