Alternative to E3 1270 3.5Ghz

I've been waiting for over 2 weeks for this processor:

Nowhere else has it in stock either. That tells me it's probably discontinued. Is there a better alternative that will work on the same socket/motherboard? This is the motherboard I have: (already got it)

I want to make sure that whatever I get will still be available months down the line, as I plan to possibly build another VM server for redundancy, so I want to keep at least the processors the same.
 
Newegg.ca wont load for me for some reason, just noticed Amazon has them for 100 bucks more, but from my experience Amazon is not the quickest at shipping stuff and sometimes it gets backordered anyway. It seems they're in stock at Tigerdirect now, they were not the other day. I will give them a few more days then think I will cancel from NCIX and order from Tigerdirect.

Edit: scratch that, Tigerdirect is the 2.4Ghz ones. Though in all honesty, I don't think I'd really notice a difference with 100Mhz... But I'll wait a bit longer and see what happens.
 
Good to know, I don't like getting raped on shipping buying from ebay, but if retailers wont deliver then maybe it will be my only option, that or downgrade to the 3.4Ghz version.

I'll wait a bit more and see what happens. Just frustrating having to wait what is basically for nothing considering it's not even on it's way.
