As with almost everything these days, there seems to be an alternative version available somewhere. There are third party video card drivers (Omega and such), alternative versions of software (QuickTime and RealPlayer Alternative), and misc other tools like DriverCleanerPro.
So, is there such for SoundBlaster soundcards? Creatives hardware has always been pretty good but their drivers were always buggy, slow, bloated (I think one install asked me to install AOL :| ), and all in all sucked.
Is there anything with better performance, configuration, or cleaner out there?
