Alternate Text Change

[kevinarbogast]

Yeah, um, this is hard to put into words...

Ok, say you have a site that changes the name of something. Now, on your site, you want to refer to it as its proper name. Is there any kind of script that would allow you to do this?

For example, myspace. I have a custom "Top Friends List" but I have to change the name and the picture everytime that person does. Is it at all possible to write some kind of HTML Code to auto-matically change the name as they change it. For instance, if my friend were to change his name from "I.Q. Man" to "Test" or something; is there anyway for my myspace friends top list thing to automatically change his name too?

If anything, I think this part of the code they use may have it contained there...but I don't know:

		    <td class="text" valign="bottom" align="left" width="300" bgcolor="#ffffff" colspan="3"
			    style="WORD-WRAP:break-word"><span class="nametext">I.Q. Man</span><br />

		    </td>

Once again, the name being I.Q. Man.

Anybody know if this is possible?

Thanks for your help in advance
