Some poster made a site for a new coin (stack) and then promoted investments in the coin. People "invested" 70 BTC which the poster has now ran away with.

Don't invest in IPO type stuff, so far they seem to fail and this was a blatant scam.

Then you have Oreo which "launched" while also containing a virus in the wallet.

The scams are there and they are taking advantage of the hype, be careful.
 
I recommend installing wallets in separate VM instances, VirtualBox is good enough and it's free. You also get the added protection if the currency does take off too.
