I've been folding my ass off with every computer at my house, including my laptop, and I've ALMOST made it into the top 1000 on the [H]ard Team 33 list. I'm currently at 143,001 points, and the lowest on the list is at 147,298 points. I'm running between 5000-5200ppd with my rigs and my 8800 GTS card o/ced to 1525mhz shaders.
 
Congrats.... That is a nice milestone. You should be able to continue up the ladder with a good ppd like that. :cool:

 
Nice top 1,000 is pretty exciting look forward to seeing you in the top 200 ie page 1 of the stats :)

 
I just noticed after looking that quite a few people in the bottom of the 1000 aren't even folding anymore. Catching those guys should be no problem! >:)
 
Yep. Theres lots of inactives spread throughout the rankings, and plenty of spots to be gained.
 
I was up close to 100k before my attack list ever had more than 2 or 3 active members on it.
 
I will be attaining 1000 tonight!! As soon as I finish 2 more blocks I will have enough points. GPU blocks go by in about 2 hours, so that shouldn't be a problem! YAY!! I'm also planning on borging 2 of my friends' computers. I built em, so they better not complain!

I like the borging idea, don't have to pay for the power :) I'm also going to be building a computer for my grandpa soon. I plan on borging it as well. I need to make sure to use at least an 8800GT in it.
 
I will be at #1000 in exactly 1 hour and 2 minutes when my mom's computer finishes it's block. YAY ME!

Yeah, dig it, when I first started continually checking my pernts rank out it did seem like Stanford was perpetually updating. I don't have a dog, but if I'd had one then I'd probably kicked it. I'd go down the hall and kick my neighbors dog , but he's bigger than me and he can probably run faster than me too. :rolleyes:

I've only got 1 GPU as of now, but 3 computers just in my house, and I'm about to borg 2 more over at a friend's house. I built them, and paid for them, currently they haven't paid me back completely, so they better not complain!

 
Borgs are fun. I think I'm gonna sneak f@h onto the linux fserv I'm building for a family member. :)
 
Now I'm up to 978, I am absolutely chewing up ranks. I'm figuring that I'm going to end up grouped with a bunch of people who have similar output to me.

lol. A dogfight in the younger ranks. This is good. I, like you, was checking Standford and watching FaHMon daily if not hourly when I first started. When you're just getting started, there are a lot of inactive folders so you're making huge jumps with almost every update. After a while, it slows down (a lot). I move maybe 1 to 4 ranks per day now. Soon enough, it'll be one per day and soon after that, it'll be once per week if at all. I've got plans for more boxen, but needs fundage. It's an addiction. I admit it, I'm a pernts whore. I'm also a airline mileage and hotel points whore :)

I'm up to 908 now, I just wish it was this easy at the top of the ranks, and I know there is no way in hell that it is with people like Sunin with their personal folding farms.

It was fun flying up the ranks when I was down there. Even at 2700PPD I couldn't move any further up than about 250.

Keeping in mind that everything changes...
With my current 27k PPD I should reach #22 in 365 days (with a healthy 10.5 mill points).

 
2700ppd? That slow?
I'm at 5000-5400 depending on the blocks I get.
I'm about to borg two of my friend's computers and see if that helps.
I just wish they could afford better video cards, cause I can't.
When I can, I will put some 8800 GS's in them and make them
folding monsters that I don't have to pay for power on!

Just recently broke 150K today myself. Though i wish I had registered my Hardforum name the same as my folding one :(

 
Seems Oraldlight added another processor of some kind. Trying to keep from being mowed? I'm still coming, and I'm about to add 2 computers tonight! :)
