are the aiw cards good for gaming or should i just get one for gaming and buy a tv tuner card?
 
yes... they are just as good.. 9700pro and 9700pro aiw is exact gaming performance... x800xt aiw is the next top dawg aiw.. same performance as the x800xt non aiw..

some of the older AIW cards used to have lower clock speeds than their non-AIW counterparts, but i'm pretty sure ATI doesn't do that anymore.

the only bad thing i can think of is that the extra components might make it harder to fit an aftermarket HSF.
