I am looking to buy a few of these for the business. The one that i see that is real good is the HP Z! but man is it expensive.

Basically i am looking for one powerful enough to handle some serious multi tasking, and running about 4 or more programs at all times. I want an all in one pc because it takes up a lot less room and it just looks much neater and cleaner.

I would also like this all in one pc to have a connection for a secondary monitor if possible that would be a huge plus..

Any suggestions of any would be great. Thanks,
 
Well we run a program for work orders @ a shop, also a program called ALLDATA, and some other programs to order parts and of course a couple of browsers, and whatever decides to go on for the future,.
 
You can buy USB monitors that are powered and have the vid-data sent thru one USB cable. If you don't use anything that needs high video bandwidth then these should work well. Like this. and this. There might be USB3 based displays out also.

I see the HP Z has a 27" display, what is the smallest viewing area are you looking for both the All-In-One and the 2nd monitor?

Many AIOs use laptop like hardware which will be more than ample for your shop.

Are you looking for something that might be more durable? How about a touch screen interface?

Also, what is your limit per PC w/out the second display?

Well the 27" might be a bit excessive, but about 22" to 24" would be nice. I am looking at the dell 9010 all in one seems to be pretty nice, i am trying to confirm and see if it has an option for a second display. atleast.
 
What will you be planning on using the 2nd display as?, order charts, videos, web browsing.

I'm assuming from the spec sheet that Dell has HDMI and a VGA port so a standard monitor should be no problem if those are not used for inputs. Edit, NVM, they are vid-outs.

You should be fine w/ a i3 and no less than 4GB RAM for what you are plan on doing.

Yea i guess i3 would def be enough vs i7

2nd display will be just for mainly browser or images, or the 2nd program running off of it
 
so would the dell one be the best one to go for? seems to be the newest and actually look pretty decent, some of the older ones look a little ugly with the giant bottom lip.
