Alienware wannabe!!!! check it out

I think you will find that is what Alienware based it off in the first place, just like they did with the chieftech cases from the early part of 2000-2002.

Wait, people actually like that case enough for someone to sell it separately?

It's a cheap knockoff, and a low-quality case. I wouldn't touch it.

Alienware's original cases weren't based off of those cases, they were actually made by Chenming/Chieftec. Their current designs are fully custom.

It's plastic, and a bitch to open up, I know from dealing with one once...I did prefer the large looking Chieftech Dragon's, made me get my current case.

The old ones were just Chieftec Dragon cases with a different plactic front.

The first generation total plastic winged thing like is on Newegg there was a giant plastic shell over a Chieftec dragon as well. Very heavy and hard to open and close.

I don't know about the current deal.

They're not really beautiful to look at. I guess it appeals to a certain client. I bought one of thegiant plastic things for my son about 5 years ago. He thought it was really cool at the time (he was 8 I think). Now he has a Lian-Li.:D

I remember liking the big alien looking case that they have now. I bought myself an antec soho server case (more updated one). But now i dont like it that much, i still like it a little, but its just big! lol.

I dont know why alienware dont change there case design anyway. They can make a great gaming rig but you cant see anything inside. whats up with that?

Beyond most of our logic, but then Dell own them now so who knows, the one I worked had some decent cabling....other than being in a crap plastic case.

The Alienware Workstation case based on the Chenbro SR105xx chassis was/is interesting. The gamer cases are for kids. I could never see rational adults having an interest in them.

.bh.
