just a friendly advice please dont buy any alienware m18x/17x which says bank transfer only, even though they have plenty of feedback please dont trust them.
I recently got scammed by a ebay member who had 310 positive feedback. He had a alienware m17x r3 for 500$ I bought and paid then and there but after sometime I contacted him about the laptop purchase he didnt reply , so I opened an item dispute with paypal and got my money back.
The alienware m18x seller asks 800$ for his m18x with i7 3940xm ,16gb ram , dual gtx 680m can you believe it ? its too good to be true .
so I talked to him like I was buying his laptop then he said he could do bank transfers only , I said ok and I told him that my friend lives in China (a lie
) so he could come to your place and pick it up or you both could meet up at a certain place and exchange the laptop for money , he said his sales are private so he cant let local pickup or arrange anything .
so I asked him to send some pictures of the laptop along with the ebay username handwritten but he refused to do it.
His ebay account shows that he is registered to US address and item comes from US , but he gave me a Chinese bank account with Chinese address and told me his real chinese address.
Earlier the Nigerians were scamming but now Chinese also has joined that category .
