Im building my first PC (a Q6600/8800GT) with my friends old Alienware case. I've concluded so far that is a Chieftec Dragon from some searching on these forums. Problem is, im in need of some parts he apparently lost. Im looking for the 2 3.5" drive cages that latch in, and the slider things you screw on to the optical drives to slider them into the case. Im hopeful there is someplace online where I can pick up these parts, but as of yet I cant find anything. Can anyone help?

ebay a cheap dragon or check out xoxide.com and directron.com, they usually have a lot of dragon stuff.

I have a box of parts from one of my old Antec full tower cases, I believe there are two drive cages for the hard drives (the kind with the release lever on the top), and all the plastic fan clips and stuff from the case.

Not doing me any good here, PM me if you want pics and we'll go from there :)

Hmm, I liked the style of the chieftec & chenming cases, any good lookalikes?

You can still find them on some retailers I think...

SVC also has a few Chieftec Dragon and Chieftec Matrix cases in stock fairly cheap too:

These were all awesome cases right along with the Antec soho from several years ago, but a lot of them have been passed up these days because most of them only fit 80mm fans and nowdays people want 120mm fans.

Those antec ones should work out fine. They look exactly like the ones in the older alienware cases. I have (and am currently modding) one. I also have the antec case tha those came from here at work. So i pulled those out and they look about right. The raild however look like they dont have enough mounting holes. But you can always make your own holes.

I am also looking for parts as I have the same case (actually think they are Antec 1080 SX/B clones) but I need the 5.25" bay covers. I will not be using one of my drive cages if you are interested in sending me 4 or your 5.25" covers?!

EDIT: Oops just realized this was from almost a year ago.... damnit
