Alienware case on Ebay going for 400$!!!

no thanks, plenty of cases out there that are 100x more aesthetically pleasing.

LOL. I read over my orginal message and it sounded like I would buy that  But I'll tell ya, those have to be some crazy people to buy a CASE for 400$

At current time, the chances of that case actually being "sold" isn't very good, considering some asshole with no feedback decided to spoof bid on some of my stuff just to win and ditch. I doubt very much if he wins, he's gonna pony up.

hmmm I'd say that the thread is more about the kind of idiot that would buy that case, broken, for 400 bucks

no damaga at all

did any one see this but me

btw i can buy a 5 buck case and make it cooler then that ;)

and the door wood work to :D

Those things are so ugly, you would have to get somebody with an Alienware fettish to buy it. Buying a case like that for $400 is just stupid, I have to say though.

a 400 dollar case is nuts, i wouldnt even spend more than 80 bux on a case

I usually wouldn't spend less than $80 on a case. Sorry, but when I'm working in a case, nothing pisses me off worse than shitty build material that slices and dices my hands, in most of the low cost cases.

It hasn't even hit the reserve. Damn. How much does this person want for it?

Since it's broken I'd give him $20 tops. It's not even that good looking.

Get a nice LL case or CM case and throw in a 200dollar WC setup and that case will own that case.

Get a PC65 (110, spend the other 90 on mods to it and the rest on WC)

Yeaha, but if you look at the bids, you will notice a eBay member with 0 feedback, drove the price up 100 bucks.

YES!! Now i can buy an overpriced case to make my computer look like an overpriced non handbuilt machine!

I think it's pretty funny that the first bid was only $19.95 and it has raised to $415.

I'm sure the $400+ Alienware case will make your computer go much faster thnn if you got a ~$400 Geforce 6800 GT :D.

well looks like some 'smart' individual grabbed the case for $415 ;)
lol... now they'll just put in $400 worth of parts and BAM! they gots themselves something ugly..

Nice paperweight! Wait till I get done modding this Gateway case. It will own the Alien....

$415?! For the life or me I can never understand what people like about those cases, ugly as sin to me.

For half the cash you could pickup a G5 case and mod it.

Wow! I thought $200 for my silverstone case was alot... My case is still prettier then anything Alienware will come up with. :p

I paid near $300 for my case....and thats only anodzing+cost of case

Agreed.
I am in the market for a new case in the next month or so.
I am looking for side window, at least 1 fan by MB rear preferably 120mm, and at least 1 fan front lower, preferably 120mm, Removeable MB tray, and room for 4 optical drives and at least 5 HD's

Along with it being sturdy and no sharp edges.

Go ahead, try to find all of that for under $150 bucks I dare you

of course, it is entirely possible that the person can now put shitty parts into it and sell it to some douche bag for $3000 + just because its an "alienware"...

Just as ugly, the metal looks like cheap plastic. If I'm spending over $80 I'd rather get a Lian-Li, Silverstone or Coolermaster case.

There were no requirements for how good it looks :).

Personally, I wouldn't buy a case over ~$60. I'd rather put the extra money into a better power supply.
