2.66 Ghz dual core processor, 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, 1024 MB dual Nvidia 7950GT Graphics, X-Hi Fi 7.1 Creative Sound Card, Alienware Motherboard, Liquid Cooling, and high performance Alienware box for maximum cooling. Comes with USB mouse and keyboard. I paid $4000 for this computer so i guess my loss is your gain.
If you have any questions feel free to call my room number at 1(843)953-0124 at my College.

Alright i am looking to get around 3k...i think a 1k drop in price for having it for 5 months is more than reasonable. Make me an offer.

For those of you wondering why i am selling it i just bought a 03' M3 and i just so happen to be more of a car fanatic than a computer fanatic so i am selling it to get money to mod my car.

oh and if any of you want pictures it is the standard high flow black alienware box for the 7500 series with red lighting. I can send pictures if you just PM me your e-mail address or just shoot me an e-mail at Synesioua1@citadel.edu and i will send you some pictures.

Welcome to [H]ard|Forum Aries932, nice system to better your sale you might want to add your Location, Pics, Shipping Option, Payment Methods, Heatware etc... Good luck in the sale. Cheers.

hey thanks my location is South Carolina, SC. If the computer goes for 3k i will ship it to anywhere in the US and i will pay for the shipping.

Payment methods i can understand if you do not want me to have the money before you have the computer i have found the best option to be www.escrow.com. Just make sure you talk to them and actually register. Otherwise paypal, a check, wire transfer however you want to do it im sure we can work something out.

The computer is coming with all of Alienware software and Windows XP Professional already installed on it. The computer will get to you and be ready to go. Thanks for the tips i hope this helps.

Cruise on over to photobucket or something and post some pics . . it might entice some folks.

Nothing like window shopping.

Here are some pictures for you all

alright guys last chance...im dropping it to 2,700 and if you want to pay a little more i will throw a 24' widescreen 1920x1200 resolution dell screen

ok can someone clue me into what you guys are talking about...why would it get closed i am just trying to sell my computer?

well there you go no more outside link

Word. Good luck with the sale but I can't say I'm too optimistic for ya. People here know what a computer is worth and putting a computer with these specs together will run you like $1100 ;)

putting it together would cost you a lot more than that....even if i bought the things myself...

The graphics cards alone cost around $700 alone....

If you can show me where you can get these parts to put it together for $1100 i will tell you what i will drop the price quite a bit...but considering it has a alienware specified motherboard, box, and software.....well good luck.

I'm not trying to mess up your thread but the graphics card is $215

X2 for sli, so $430 for both cards. You don't even list the processor, so who knows what that costs but most people would rather have a non-Alienware setup so that they can overclock their own good stuff.

i must be new to this but why does that card look completely different from my card in the computer?

alright i found it it is a Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6700 2.66GHz 4MB Cache 1066MHz FSB

and to be more specific the memory is

2GB DDR2 Performance SDRAM at 800MHz - 2 x 1024MB

the hard drive is

250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7,200 RPM w/ 8MB Cache

with the CD/DVD

18X Dual Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Writer

it also has the

Ageia PhysX Processing Unit w/ 128MB GDDR3 - Intensified Gaming Visual Effects!

with alienware's

AlienAdrenaline: Video Performance Optimizer

alright someone since obviously i got completely screwed by Alienware considering this whole package was 4k tell me what a good price is for this with the monitor...realistically

$1,500 tops.

I guess this is a bump?

My condolences to you about being done like that by Alienware.

Your best bet is selling locally to people who don't know better.

I hate to say it, but true.

alright someone since obviously i got completely screwed by Alienware considering this whole package was 4k tell me what a good price is for this with the monitor...realistically

Its a nice computer but yes, compared to what (better) boutique builders charge, you got screwed four ways to Friday.

the monitor goes for $1499 new so i say about $1,100since the thing is only 5 months old

the graphics cards go for $499 so how bout $400

the memory goes for about $170 so how bout $140

the processor goes for about $320 new so how about $190

the hard drive goes for about $70 so how about $50

i am sure the box with the power supply go for about $70 lets say so again how about $50

Finally the water cooling looks to be about $130 so how about $100

So total if you wanted to build it yourself it would cost you about 2,800 and i will drop the price to $2100. If that does not seem fair for a 5 month old computer you tell me.

NOTE: all these numbers came off of newegg website.

Honestly I'd say try eBay first... I'm sure you could find someone will less knowledge than the average [H] user that would be willing to pay around $3k for your pc... it's a nice setup, just nothing that many here would buy in one shot... most of us like to buy things piece by piece, getting the best prices we can.

get off this guy,he is trying to get his price on a very nice computer this is almost top of line stuff.it's like a ford and a caddy a 5 month old cad is still worth serious cash
on to pm's

alright the monitor i just checked what the hell happened...somehow i ended up in with another country when i searched under yahoo when i was looking threw dell

the monitor retails for $679 new so how about $600

plus i forgot the physics processor which goes for $189 so lets say $150

anyways that drops the price to $1800

come on guys this was all the prices off of the website you showed me check it yourself i think this is more than fair...pls stop treating me like i am being a jerk...i am just trying to sell this and i am being very reasonable for not knowing a whole lot.

$1800 for a 5 month old Alienware computer....there is no way that you could find a deal like this anywhere else

Hey no worries. I didn't think you were a jerk at all. I just wasn't sure if you knew what it was worth, thats all. You're welcome to sell it for whatever you think is far, I was just trying to help you get an idea of prices these days.

Sell locally to people that do not know better, you will make more off of it.

ebay it or put it on craigslist... but anyhow goodluck man and enjoy your car...

in all honesty i really just want to get rid of the thing...and $1800 i think is more than reasonable for only being 5 months old....and that is if you bought the computer yourself and put it together

Not to mention any of Alienware's designs for cooling, or their software for performance. Their has got to be someone that wants this computer.

Yea nother vote for ebay. You're more likely to find someone that will pay 3k for the alienware name. sorry your thread got wrecked. good luck selling and enjoy your car

Gratz on the M3, I have a 2006 coupe and it is hands down the most fun to drive car ever made.
