  • RAM: 4GB RAM
  • Hard Drive: 35GB required for installation
  • Video Card: 1GB DirectX® 11 (AMD Radeon HD 5550 or Nvidia GeForce GT 430)
  • Broadband Internet Connection

Recommended PC Specifications:
  • Operating System: Windows 7 (64bit)
  • Processor: AMD: Phenom II X4 955 – 4 Core, 3.2 GHz or INTEL: Core 2 Quad Q9650 – 4 Core, 3.0 Ghz

The real question though is what is "recommended" when it comes to settings? Is that's whats recommended at 2560x1600 on the highest possible graphics settings the game is capable of, where it won't drop below 30FPS during gameplay?

That's what they should list IMO, is what gets >30FPS at all times on lowest settings 720p, and what gets >30FPS on highest settings at 1600p.

just look at the gameplay trailers, seems about right. low res textures, lack of shaders. It looks like a game for the xbox 360.

To think that the PC is capable of delivering graphics close to the CGI trailer....

Really getting spoiled with Mantle smoothness, disappointed this Gaming Evolved game doesn't look like it'll have it. :(

The recommended specs are what I would have expected for this game.

I don't know what people were expecting. Its a single player game that takes place indoors. Its a survival/horror game. There isn't much going on the screen at once. At least the recommended specs state a quad core and a recent GPU with 2GB of VRAM. If they are recommending 2GB of VRAM, there is going to be some decent textures in there somewhere.

No John Hurt?

Kane gets killed by the chestburster, that's when the Alien gets loose. The game levels from the film take place *after* Kane dies.

I honestly thought Yaphet Kotto had passed away.
