I just reconnected my server back to my router, configured everything and I now, on my personal PC, I'm getting the following alert in Firefox when I click on links and enter url's: xxxxxx.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again.

This alert doesn't always pop-up. It appears to be a random occurence. Usually, if I hit the back button and select the same link again, I will be routed to that url just fine on the second try.

I'm getting this alert on all kinds of different web pages, so I know it must have something to do with the server I just hooked up and my router.

anyone ever see anything like this before?

My server is running on a network cable to my router, my personal PC is running on wireless to the router. My router is a D-link 614+.

Sounds like you have a DNS issue. Double-check your DNS settings in your router.

Windows likes to do this:

Resolve DNS from its internal cache, query local WINS servers, then query external DNS servers (from your router if you set up your machine for DHCP/Obtain IP address automatically).

Sounds like you have a bogus/non-working DNS entry in your router.
