I just setup my new PC, installed the drivers, set up the HD Audio Manager to 5.1 Speakers, set up th speakers and everything... and this is where the problems start.
With my old soundblaster live, when I set it to 5.1 and listened to music, I'd get sound from all 5 speakers + my sub. Now I only get sound from the front 3 speakers. Furthermore, when I do a sound test in CS:Source, each channel's "sound test" comes from EVERY speaker. It gets really annoying... I'm wondering if I'm doing anything wrong?
PS - The audio test in the Realtek HD Manager outputs sound to each speaker perfectly. heres a pic of my settings.
