In my photos menu I have two albums: Camera Roll and Photo Stream. Both contain the same photos every time I take a picture. Why do I have both and do I need both?
 
i dont think so. just your mypictures (or wherever you selected)


in order to remove / clear things from your photo stream (cloud files only), youll have to disable photo stream on all devices, then go to icloud.com and click advanced on your account name and reset photo stream.

Photo Stream is the most recent 1000 pictures you've taken, saved in the cloud. I think they also last only 30 days as well.

I'm enjoying Photo Stream so far, but I wish photos could be deleted. Either way, it's a very convenient service.
