Hi from Greece! I am building a system with P4 2,6C , 1Gb Ram , a ATI 9800 PRO and i am considering bying a Springdale Motherboard. In Greece you don't have many options, mainly Albatron PX865PE Pro and Pro2 .Only other option is AsusP4P800,which cost A LOT more. So, are Albatron motherboards any good?Do you see any problem with the above config?
Many thanks in advance!

Albatron boards are well made. However, the Abit and Asus boards run faster due to PAT implementations.

Does the Abit IS7 (which is also available here) have PAT?
Is the diference with and without PAT significant enough( in terms of frames per second) to justify the extra money?

Both the Abit and Asus implement something like PAT with their bios. There is a speed increase and the boards run almost as fast as a 875 board. The Abit IS7 is under $100 US so it isn't an expensive board.
