My 550W akasa power plus PSU has died!
It was given good reviews and its also made to be a server PSU but its lasted only 15 months,
I don't think that it was pushed too hard and it didn't actually die when under load!
My g/f turned the PC off and it never came back on. The green light on the mother board is lit but there is no power apart from that. I swapped it out for a spare Tagan PSU and the system boots up ok.
Why would this happen? (also the fuse had gone in the plug socket but the surge protector had not tripped)
