Can anyone tell me how this stuff compares to AS5? How long is it before this silver based compound settles in and temps start to drop?
 
I've never heard of it, so I can probably say others won't be familiar with the stuff either... Why not go with AS5? Price?
 
nah price wasnt an issue. The vendor where i went didnt have as5, but they had this stuff. just as expensive as AS5, also silver based, and akasa is a known brand.

EDIT: Also, could anyone give me the thermal conductivity of the following, i cant find them. AS5, arctic cooling MX-1,
The AK-450 im using has a thermal conductivity of 9.2428 W/m.C
