I've been slowly pulling together the parts for a nice quiet home PC, and I while I'm a perfectionist at heart, I've had a little too much time to think about the assembly process (and not enough to actually do it!).

I picked up the Antec P182, plenty of space, designed for quiet. Here's a photo of the internals if you're not familiar, second set of photos down on the left. Picked up the Noctua NH-U12P Universal heatsink as well.

So my dilemma is which way to align the heatsink with the 80mm fan on it to take advantage of the airflow that the case is currently handling.

Any thoughts?

You can have it aligned so that the fan blows hot air at the top or rear vents, it shouldn't make much of a difference.

like crazyjeeper site he right!
