I'm currently planning my new rig, but I don't know if I should go with air- or watercooling.
I've looked into the Thermalright XP-120. And Asetek Waterchill Antarctica.
What are the cpu temperature differences I should expect with either setup?
At www.overclockers.com the XP-120 got a c/w rating of 0.21 with the fan at acceptable noise level. Whereas the Asetek got a c/w rating of 0.31 with the L30 pump with fan at 7 volts. Are these c/w ratings indicative of the performance i'll get? I mean can I compare a c/w rating between air and watercooling? If so it's no contest with the price diffrence and all. The CPU I'll get is the Amd 3000+ 939.
