Air Purifier (Dust elimination)

I had already two air purifiers made by Venta and Electrolux.
Thay did`nt worked at all. Same amount of dust that was sucked in, was throwed out from them (total scam for me)
Now I want to buy new Air Purifier.
Should I buy something from SHARP Plasmacluster series (eg. KC-6400E / KC-6500E)
or maybe
3M Filtrete FAP03
will be better?

Like I said eariler - dust is my main concern. I don`t need air ionizer or humidifier.
Computers and monitors don`t like dust.
