Air Cooling Mods

Ok well ive basically maxed out the known air cooling potential of my thermaltake Tsunami dream case, minus the blowhole mod, because i like the top USB's and dont like the idea of making a permanent hole in my case unless i know it will actually work well with my current setup. Basically i have 120mm's on the front and back (replaced both stock fans) then modded the side window and put another 120 there, and up near the USB ports where the blowhole would be i have a 120 facing down to push cool air towards the back. With the limited space available I havent found much else i can do but temps are still around 60-62C on full load, so im wondering if anyone out there has any interesting air cooling mods or ideas? Because if i ever decided to switch to water cooling or vapo chilling i would start with a completely new case and system.
 
your heat sink is probably the problem, also what voltage is your cpu at? have you lapped the zalman and the p4s ihs? whats your room temp?

at 1.575v my cpu does 57C dual prime95 and rthdribl load ~43C idle, and thats with my room at 80F+ for as much of a comparison a water cooling system makes...
 
Same case, I also replaced stock fans. Have one 120mm intake, one 120mm exhaust and one 92mm 0n side panel/window which is ducted to stok Thermaltake Heatsink.
Athlon 64 FX-55, current CPU temp(idle)28C(underload)48C.Room Temp is 80F.

my room temp stays around 80 to 85F most of the time. Im not sure about the CPU voltage I would have to check the bios but I haven't done any overclocking with it. And excuse the noobage but im not sure what lapping is?
 
i assumed you overclocked, lapping would be sanding the heat sink smooth and flat, i dont suggest lapping cpus until you have done quite a few heat sinks tho.. and lapping is only worth about 5C anyhow, synergy of lapping both does about 10C depending on how bad it was before but for you risk/void warrenty isnt worth it

just thought of somthing, did you use arctic silver?
 
yea i used AS5 on the heatsink, but i also have some AS ceramique. . .i'm guessing the use or overuse of that stuff can also can some heat issues?
