I just recently installed windows on my new SSD, but forgot to enable AHCI prior to installation. Can I still do it? Or should I do a clean install with AHCI enabled prior to installing windows? Thanks
 
if you're worried about killing your windows installation, as a precaution, create a system image of C drive with 'Backup and Restore'.
