Agp?

I have a RADEON 9800SE 128mb 256bit video card that I softmoded to a 9800 regular. In the settings for the video card theres a tab called "SmartGart" and it has my AGP speed at off. The options are 4x and 8x. Should this be on 4x or 8x or should I just leave it alone?

Also, it says that my core frequency is 378.00 and my mem is 337.50. Does this seem low to anyone?

Should be at 8X (in your BIOS). The speeds are correct. The memory speed is listed at single speed, so it's DDR speed is actually 670...dunno why ATi cards list it that way.

You should be able to...then you can try a program like Sisoft Sandra http://www.sisoftware.demon.co.uk/sandra/ to see what AGP speed you're actually at.

hmm...This smartgart utility keeps telling m that it will only change the AGP setting if I restart to check if the settings are stable. Each time I restart it shows my agp as being off. Any other ideas?
