agp warning LED with 9700pro

I've a P4T533-C motherboard and after putting the 9700pro in the AGP warning light comes on and the machine won't switch on. Has anyone had this same problem or have any ideas what the problem might be?

any advice would be appreciated!!

AFIK, There are some compatibility problems with certain ASUS motherboards based on intel chips & RADEON 9700 PRO Rev. 1.0 & Rev. 1.1. I can't recognize your mobo model no though.........is it a ASUS mobo???
