AGP problem, need some help...

Hey everyone, if anyone remember I was having problems with my video card performance (its a crappy fx 5700, but isnt even performing to its crappy level, about 1/4th of what it should according to other peoples scores with the same card)

I checked out my nvidia control panel and looked at the agp settings, and this is what I see:

Why, is my OS running as 2x maximum? I have tried a few things, updated all my drivers and updated windows, etc. etc. (its a 1 week old install of XP, so its pretty clean)

How can I get this to report as 8x?! Its really bothering me!

Someone please help meh! :eek:
 
interesting... I poked around alot on google and I found alot of the same, saying its normal, was just paranoid that it was indeed the problem with my slow frame rates as compared to others users with the same card.

ahhh well, back to the drawing board I suppose :(
