Well, my girlfriend has an HP Pavilion a320n which has an onboard video card. I curently installed a 9700 pro to give her a little more boost in her games. I was able to rid the old nvidia drivers no problem and everything runs pretty well. The problem is that in SmartGart it says the AGP is off and when she starts to play her video games it gives the same message but still allows her to run these games. I knew that I should download the chipset drivers and enable AGP in the CMOS setup which I have. When I go to install the chipset drivers to enable AGP it gives me the message " The original drivers are stored in the C:\HP\Drivers\Chipset folder. Pleast install the driver through the Device Manager."
The problem is that in the Device Manager I have no clue where I am supposed to be installing these drivers at, I don't know if I'm looking for the wrong item or what, but I would like to get the AGP enabled because I'm sure there is a huge performance hit with it being off. Thanks for taking the time in replying, I'm at a stand still as far as what to do from here.
