AGP fast writes and infinite loop error

Hi,
I've been getting the nv4_disp error since I made my rig and I've been reading that a fix for this would be to disable agp fast writes. I can't seem to find this option in my BIOS. Could someone lend me a hand?

AMD 64 X2 3800+
MSI Geforce 7800GT
MSI RS480 (mATX mobo)

Edit: Agh this may sound stupid but I do have pci e video card so I'm guessing I don't have this option of disabling agp fast writes.
 
Sounds like you may have 1) overheating problems or 2) inadequate power or 3) incompatible drivers on your system. Used to get this on my old 1GHz T-Bird prior to installation of proper exhaust fans. I think the heat caused deterioration of clean power to GF2 card, especially when gaming.

correct on your BIOS, i'm tollerating the same mobo til I can get a new one, the BIOS is cack.
