What is the difference in AGP and PCI slots? i have a 9800 pro 128mb and was wondering about all these new cards with PCI. I was reading a review and it was sayin how this is the best card on the market for AGP users. Would a Asus P4C800 deluxe be able to handle a PCI card? Sry if it sounds like a noob question.
 
It's not PCI, PCI is the old connection for things that don't require much bandwidth to run correctly. PCI-Express (PCIE) is the new standard that is catching on pretty well.

The best card for AGP is the X850XTPE that retails for about $500.

The 9800pro is a good card though.

As for your system running a PCI card, it could but what you want is an AGP card. I'd suggest an X800XL, they are about the best bang for the buck these days IMHO.
