AGP 8X and my system

So I guess my system (i845E) can not fully utilize ATi Radeon 9800 Pro? (or XT for that matter)?

Well, the i845E only has AGP 4x support, but that's enough for vid cards these days anyway.

8x is never utilized, systems barely get past 4x speeds. You're fine.
