AGH windows is in a differnt font

this is probably any easy fix that i just dont know about or something but i figured id ask anyway, im wokring on a "Netlux" brand laptop with win2k Pro on it and basically most the programs, when opened, are all written in hyrogliphics... but its not in all programs, for example: all of office has this problem as does NTBackup, im not sure how to fix the problem so if anyone has any thought, it would really help me out
