Hi all

Ok I went out and bought a 4 port sata raid controller card. Its the Promise TX4200 and it has each sata drive Act led headers and a Aggregate led header.

What is the aggregate led header used for. On my card it has 4 pins,

The 2 outside pins are + and the 2 inside pins are the -

Is a bipolar led used, what colors should it be?. Basicly Im trying to figure out on what to get to hook this feature up.

I plan on running raid 10, strip plus mirror on 4 x 250 gig wd re 16 drives.
