anyone know if they have a stock ticker symbol? i think this would be a wise investment.

when nvidia hit the market i was in 10th grade. it was 12$ a share. i told my teacher it would be a great investment and he laughed. 6months or so later it was up to 98$ a share after splitting lol. errr 0.o

actually thats a pretty good point.. if it really does take off i'd want a piece of it :p

Being paired with Asus will give them a chance to do well I think. I think I will be on the lookout for this stock also. :D

With all the hype that they're getting from E3, I don't think it'd be a good investment right now, if they were publicly traded but, considering they're a small, new company, I doubt they've gone public yet - the dot.com days of going public before you have a worthwhile product shipping are long gone.

edit - according to their webzit http://www.ageia.com/about.html they're still on VC funding. With that much VC funding in the bag, they're not going public until they can make some money, which pretty much locks you out of the game unless you can walk to the table with a few million to spare.

Even when they do go public, good luck getting any IPO shares. You'll have to wait until trading starts.

it will probably be a few years till they go public.

unless they get bought out by nvidia .

but yea.. if PPU take off it might be good.

although if they take off im sure nvidia/ati will get in that market.

LOL..

your 10th grade story reminds me of my self.

i told my college calculus professor that 3dfx was dead and nvidia was the leader.
he disagreed w/ me ... i even went as far as to say 3dfx would be bought out since they had just won a pretrial against nvidia.

sure enough 3dfx ASSETS got bought out... so it wasnt quite like i though but similar and nvidia became the leader.
