Well to me this seems like even worse PR fud then what other's have claimed Nvidia/ATi have said. I love this the best

Secondly, there are PhysX enabled games available today including:
Ghost Recon, Advanced Warfighter (Ubisoft) - Added physics effects throughout Ghost Recon
CellFactor game demo - Full gameplay physics with a modder program just initiated.
City of Villains (NCSoft) – An update with explosive effects of player powers
Bet on Soldier (Kylotonn) – An update with cool new fluids in gameplay
Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends (Microsoft) - Soon to be available:

They start the paragraph off with the word's "available today" then they end it with "soon to be available" yeah that isn't pr fluff if i have seen it.

Terra and you are just like Crusaders from the two different sides.
its more ment for him he comes with the PR statement or argument.

This is not so much PR but Facts it only tells the world they have a head start.
My copy of GRAW tell that I can touch that and play.PhysX it not the best example and the are overly enthauasiast on it but I like it.
More to come in a short time.

If as a game you like PhysX escpacialy Gameplay physics you need to buy first a PPU and for the HavokFX games a extra GPU later when there Plan gets unfold in reality.

No havok games for how long. Is there any game / patch plans known?

Yeah Alone in the Dark and Hellgate London are allready announced for Havok FX and ATI's solution.

That interview was such a crock. It was an advertisement for their failed product. How that guy can sleep soundly at night is beyond me.

He sells a game decellerator with little to no support. Wow...go you.

Are you talking of personal experince or just PR-FUD? :)

Cellfactor:

No PhysX card, ‘EnablePhysX=false’

Max FPS 40
Min FPS 17
Average FPS 32.6

With PhysX card

Max FPS 42
Min FPS 23
Average FPS 33.2

(And that was with the old 2.4.3 PhysX driver.)

Or this:

GRAW:

"We see a slight increase of the average and minimal performance: although the physical effects in GRAW are much more complex, it is the specially dedicated PPU and not the system processor that deal with them."

Also with the old 2.4.3 driver...

When I run GRAW or CellFactor(PhysX driver 2.4.4) I se no prefomance degrading.

Funny how people are stuck in preformance form older drivers.
Should we look at older drivers..or the current situation? :)

Terra...

"Using FRAPS, the benchmark runs over 30 seconds in which the player shoots a bunch of pipes & boxes with his grenade launcher. I try to position myself in the same position each time. However, it's impossible to ensure all objects fly in the same direction each time(even if I shoot in the same spot), therefore just take these benchmarks as a rough gauge. "
Until you can run a perfect 1:1 comparison those numbers don't mean anything and just makes me think they are even and not different. Considering all the person did in that 30 seconds was shoot blocks and pipes it shows how little the card is used in that demo for interaction. The only thing the card is utilized during the tech demo is for the cloth flag (which is beutiful) and the blood (which is terriblly rendered). Both not really fun for more then 10 seconds. Do you really care about tearing through cloth when your shooting your enemy's or how the blood flows on the ground? Yes it adds a little bit extra to immersion but it adds nothing to interactivity which you seem to be saying it's what the card is all about.
