I just built my computer a few weeks ago, and you can see the specs in my signature.

I'd been noticing lately that after coming out of standby, everything would be running a bit slower, and my games all had like 10-20fps less. So when I downloaded CoreTemp today for the heck of it, I noticed it said my processor speed was 2220.03Mhz (222.00 x 10). This is wrong, very very wrong.

My multiplier is 13, not 10. THen I reset my computer and the multiplier was back at 13, but when I put it in standby and resumed it again, I was back at 10.

What could possibly causing my CPU to be lowering its multiplier after standby??
